The Ceremony

Your ceremony at Olympic Hills features a beautiful pergola overlooking our serene waterfall garden and glistening pond. The site offers tiered amphitheater seating with elegant white ceremony chairs. The spectacular sunsets behind the ceremony site each and every night is a photographer's dream come true. Our experienced and passionate team (keep scrolling to meet Emily!) are all yours from booking and planning all the way through to your last dance! We're here to make your special day everything you've ever wanted and more.

The Reception

Your reception at Olympic Hills boasts a beautifully remodeled banquet space with rustic hardwood floors, mahogany Chiavari chairs, gorgeous beamed ceilings, grand windows with stunning views and striking natural light. A newly designed patio deck wraps around the entirety of the room with a view.

The Food

Our customizable menus, developed by our nationally recognized chef, uses from scratch recipes and fresh, seasonal ingredients to create a dining experience matched to your exact specifications. Whether you’re dreaming of a formal three course plated meal or love the idea of a family style dinner, we have the ability to serve your guests in any manner your heart desires.

Meet the Team

Emily has been with Olympic Hills since June 2021 and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management. Emily loves helping our wedding couples make their special day perfect, as well as helping coordinate events in our beautiful event space. Emily's attention to detail and follow through with her clients is one of her many strengths she brings to the team! She’s known to write down her thoughts and ideas on post-it notes (which can be seen on the walls of her office!) In her free time she likes to spend time with family, visit flea markets and craft shows, and trying out new baking recipes.

Hannah has been in the hospitality industry for 10 years, and graduated from NDSU with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She started at Olympic Hills in 2018 and has worked many roles within the company. As the Food and Beverage Manager she manages the beautiful dining room, and helps organize member events. Hannah is always happy and eager to help however she can. In her free time you’ll find her practicing her golf game and most likely she’s at Target.

Meet the Team

Kevin has been connected to the food industry his entire working life from farm to table.  He’s always inspired by how food ties us all together and can tell a story, as well as an outlet for artistic passions. While working at the Lake Elmo Inn, Kevin attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary College. He spent his free time honing his skills in both restaurant and catered events, keeping his focus on building his palette and food knowledge. After culinary school looking to travel, he worked as a Chef for Redstone American Grill. Over the following 10 years he traveled the country opening each of their new restaurants then finally landing at the Minnetonka, Minnesota location. Working for and learning from such amazing leaders in the industry has taught Kevin about quality, attention to detail and consistency.  In 2016 Kevin attended a continuing education program hosted at each of the Culinary Institute of America campuses focusing on world cuisines, ethical responsibilities, industry trends and health and wellness.  He continues to bring fun and innovative experiences to the membership and corporate events and has a passion to bring food and service to the next level.

The venue itself is amazing, the pond/waterfall was a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, the deck was perfect for our cocktail hour and the reception area is beautifully updated. Our guests loved the patio space for cocktail hour and used it throughout free whole night. “Would highly recommend this venue! It's budget friendly, close to the cities, amazing food and the event manager made planning very easy and was very responsive. The landscaping around the ceremony is gorgeous! It was one of our favorite parts about the venue. Another reason we chose this venue is that everything was included. They provided the ceremony seating, reception area seating/tables, linens, napkins, table settings, food, desert and drinks (we went with the standard seating, table settings, white linens and white napkins). We didn't want to have to worry about using outside vendors for these items and it made planning so much easier! Plus they did a great job with everything! The reception area had adequate room for all of our guests. We had 150 people total with 15 tables and a harvest table for the bridal party and their SO's. We brought in our own flowers and vases for the center pieces. They were very accommodating and let us keep the center pieces over night after the reception. We were able to pick them up the next morning. We had the bridal suite from 9 am - midnight. There's no extra charge for the bridal suite. The groomsman got a small room upstairs next to the reception area they could place their stuff. We had a buffet and got lots of compliments from our guests saying it was the best wedding food they'd ever had! I totally agree! Food was warm and fresh tasting. There was plenty of room for our DJ and guests to dance the night away. The floor in the reception room is wood so we did not have to rent a dance floor. Along with the reception room there is a large balcony that wraps around the outside. There's plenty of room to set up outdoor games, there's a gas fire and wood fire to sit around and plenty of outdoor seating. There's an event manager that comes with the venue. Shout out to Ashten and Hannah! They were awesome and were at our wedding for the whole day making sure everything went smoothly. We could have not done it without them! ”

“Married 6/22/2019 OHGC was the first and only venue we toured. I fell in love right away. The ballroom was perfect, the patio was a great addition and the ceremony site was outside. We wanted one location for everything it OHGC offered everything we wanted! The venue itself is amazing and so so beautiful. We didn’t feel the need to over decorate and we simply enjoyed the beauty of the venue itself with the small pond and waterfall in the background. There were plenty of options for photo backgrounds as well! We stayed within our budget but were still able to enjoy a good time. The food was AMAZING and our guests are still talking about it. There was a lot of change over in even coordinator positions throughout our wedding planning process BUT OHGC staff handled all the changes smoothly and shared important information and we never had a glitch! I was confident in Ashten and Hannah when our big day came. They were there for set up the day before, ran around like crazy the morning of, and checked in with us throughout the night. We only had one table that was served “out of order” but that wasn’t a huge deal, and with a couple questions about our overall bill at the end of the day, they were able to work through it. They were always present, making sure ourselves and our guests were comfortable. Super flexible, like to try new ideas, and 100% recommended! THANK YOU! Advice: The venue is intimate in size with not a lot of space for young children to run and play. Wedding guests are not allowed on the golf course so we chose to do an adult only wedding and we are so glad we did! We had only two younger guests and they were getting restless so it was difficult to keep them only in the ballroom space."

After our first meeting with Gracia, our worries were at ease. We reviewed meal choices, room set-up and table arrangements, bar selections, and the timeline. When we arrived at Olympic Hills after our off-site ceremony, I was truly speechless with how the room transformed into the most beautiful reception space I could imagine! “This place is seriously incredible and underrated. Such a great value for what you get in terms of venue quality (beautiful floors, windows and ceiling beams), deck space, outdoor ceremony space, food, flexiblity, and coordination assistance. It was also so easy to work with the staff throughout the entire process. They assisted with making decisions and they help me stay on track. Also, for the day of, I didn’t worry about ANYTHING. They helped us by covering the aisle with rose petals last minute when we completely forgot and their intern literally brought us anything we needed until we left. The food was also really great - got tons of compliments from guests. Our big day was a huge success largely because of Olympic Hills and I cannot thank them enough! So in summary, yeah I’d recommend”
